hopefully he does well there. he was a good player but was stuck behind guys who were better than him, and was a bit undersized, but good luck to him in the future!

He was playing for a pretty good coach here and didn't accomplish much. Hopefully the step down in competition is what he needs and he can have a couple fun years out there. Despite his obvious short-comings physically, he's still an interesting prospect I think. | |

This shows the quality of player Cory is. Valpo is a top mid major every year. Congrats to Cory on finding a home. I am very disappointed that we couldn't figure out a way to better utilize his talents. | |

Valpo had their moment ten years ago when they made the Sweet Sixteen with Bryce Drew hitting that game winning shot we see every March, and Homer Drew is a good coach and seems like one of the real good guys in coaching, but I really don't think they can be called one of the "top mid-major programs in the country" every year. I don't think they've been in the NCAA tournament since 2000, when they were a #16 seed playing Michigan State in the first round. I may be wrong on that, but I think there are a lot better mid-major programs around.
That being said, best of luck to Cory. Sounds like a really great kid and I would love to see him be successful at Valparaiso. | |
