Yep, no reason to eat a scholarship for two years for only 1 year of play.

agreed compared to the players on the roster (not saying a lot)

Yeah, who wants someone who's been able to actually score.

Haven't you seen all twenty of them thread so far..... Getting extremely rediculous. I know we are bored since it's just May, but come on.

Freeman has one year. We really don't have any reason to think about it. Like I said with the Perrilloux thread, why risk it chemistry and such with a one year flash in the pan...

I don't care if he has some talent. Not worth it.

You can't compare Tony Freeman with the overall douchieness of Perriloux.

Makes our bench that much stronger but he would never come here if he couldn't start...

I'm desperate enough for anybody who can make a 15' Jumper.

Just wondering, I know it wont happen... but say a scholarship player from another D1 school in this case Iowa transfered to another school to be a walk on would you have to sit out a year? I know Thompson sat out but was that because we knew he would be on scholly eventually?

Wesley can do that with the best of them. He just really likes to shoot three pointers.

It seems like he can, but in B12 play he only shot 35% FG and barely 30% 3pt. He does have a good lookin' stroke and he can hit FTs.

IMO, outside shooting (or lack of) has really hurt us the past few years.

Not just outside shooting, either.

Freeman has one to play and we only have one scholarship for '09. It would be absolutely ridiculous to take him on at this point.

I'd loose a lot of respect for GMac if he brought him in.
