No it's court and it could be a big one. Some stiff competition for him. We are neer the top though. Let's just say we might go all in on him. Go TJ.

I'm hearing reports from different people that it's Jeronne Maymon. He is a crazy good player from Wisconsin, that reportedly had grade issues, but those are over now. His stat line in the Wisconsin state tourney was crazy....30 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists, and two steals.
28 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals to go with a tournament record 8 blocks.
That was in one of his games as a 6'6" forward. He has offers from Baylor and Wisconsin Green bay too.

Jeronne Maymon, 6-foot-7 WF, Wisconsin Gators - This athletic combo can slash and score or knock down 15-footer off the dribble with some regularity. He attacks glass on both ends. Range and consistency are keys to high majors, but he gives effort you gotta love.
Sounds like just what we need.
hat position does he play was a question mark that followed him around last weekend in Arkansas, but what wasn't in question was his sheer production. The 6-foot-7 combo forward just got things done. Maymon was sensational against Seattle Rotary in a terrific game. He approached the 30-point range in front of a gym full of coaches. His best work was done in the paint but showed some improvement as a wing player. His bread and butter is in the post and his energy, muscle and motor will make him a difficult player to defend at the next level.

Ooooooh excellent!

"My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious. "

I know Mike Golac's 6-4 eight grade boy just received a bball offer....maybe eight grade is a little young, but Tim Floyd has done it before also.

Couple of Maymon blurbs -

Jeronne Maymon, PF, Wisconsin Gators Elite What position does he play was a question mark that followed him around last weekend in Arkansas, but what wasn't in question was his sheer production. The 6-foot-7 combo forward just got things done. Maymon was sensational against Seattle Rotary in a terrific game. He approached the 30-point range in front of a gym full of coaches. His bread and butter is in the post and his energy, muscle and motor will make him a difficult player to defend at the next level.

Wisconsin forward Jeronne Maymon gets work done at 6-foot-7. Whether he's a wing or a post player, the future four-star prospect was as productive as any forward in the class in April.

Wisconsin forward Jeronne Maymon emptied his tank against Seattle Rotary to the tune of 29 points. He's a tough player to defend because he hurts teams in so many ways. In this game, he had it going as a wing man. Maymon earned some respect from recruiters with his play.

I asked about Maymon on the Wisconsin boards - the reviews are interesting to say the least. Both good and bad.

I wouldn't take them up on this one:

BryceC,

I have a deal for you. You give us Ames native, Harrison Barnes, and we give you Madison native, Jeronne Maymon. Deal?
That said, it does sound like he's a big risk of being a 'tweener. Aside from certain other risks.
