I remember him, but he wasn't on the staff long before he moved on. I believe Wayne Morgan replaced him.

Per the link: Lowery said he was looking for an assistant with proven recruiting skills. At Iowa State, Irvin helped Eustachy and the Cyclones land a top-five rated recruiting class. I wish more came of it...

Also, Bob Sundvold just got a job as an assistant at Toledo. He was at ISU for a few years before leaving to coach KC's ABA team. Am I remembering things right that there were kind of some weird circumstances or at least the timing of his departure from ISU was kind of odd?

I think he is the only one from LE's staff that didn't leave with some controversy. Wasn't he the interim coach until WM was head coach? Granted, it was off-season, so he didn't have to do much.
