And I said almost exactly on Monday.

That's right. I knew it seemed familiar when I read it.

I stick up for him because he is level-headed, respectful, and doesn't call people a tool.

It was a talking point. It was in print. Freeman named the coach from ISU that he had spoke with...Rutter's name was in parenthesis, so either Freeman confirmed that to Randy at some point during the interview, or Randy confirmed that elsewhere...they wouldn't just throw it in.

So it was being discussed on some level, or Freeman made it all up.

As to whether it will happen, I don't think it will. But I brought it up as a topic to see what ISU fans thought about it...and we took some calls.

I am pleased to report that no one was injured during the segment.

Nope, Tate made it out OK. Although, I think a few psyche's appear to have suffered some minor damage around these parts.

Don't worry, Jon, unlike the fanbase that you usually work with, most ISU fans do not have their psyche and self-worth directly tied to our team's success (or failure).

Do or do not, there is no try .....Yoda

It's a good thing too, or else we'd have an extremely depressed fanbase after the last two years.

Heh...if you go look at some of our post-game threads from the last few seasons in both FB and MBB, a person may think differently.

If he wants to walk-on, it's a possibility. Not a chance Gmac burns a ship on him.

I listen to Cyclone Reaction when I am not doing soundoff...and I read the message boards...and I take some of your calls....

Trust me, I don't see much difference, other than ISU fan expectations seem to be more realistic than Iowa fan expectations...which can lead to a few roads of debate as to whether or not that is a good thing, or why that is.

Excuse me for having an opinion. It's a message board. Ignore my posts if you must.

You're excused, don't let it happen again though.
