Re: Jon Miller topic. Tony Freeman

For the record, I listen to Jon's show every day that I'm in the office and it isn't Cub talk.

I think he's VERY fair to ISU.

In fact, I offered him some ISU basketball tickets last season via. email. I never got/saw a response. It's OK, they got used. :)

I can't believe the thin skin on here when I criticize the show. It's not Jon that gets defensive either.

We ought to start a new forum just for Jon Miller and Marty and Miller hate threads. Seems like there is a new one each day...

I can see why people hate Marty. He'a a pot-stirrer. Jon isn't.

I enjoy M&M but take it for what it is.

Yes, Jon is a Cub fan.

The more we read that we cannot do this, the more we should go hard to get Freeman. Next year we could have a Freeman and a Free Lucca on the same team.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

Now you see how hard it is to put together a show each day in this market during this time of year :)

The pickings are slim for a good three months....which might be why schmucks like us become more popular targets ;)

If you want I will give you some exclusive interviews on a couple of different Intramural Championship games from back in the day. I will include all the insights, from the music I listened to on the way to the big game to halftime/between innings planning that we had.

The last thing we need is a one year guy. Especially when you never know what that guy is going to give you each night.

Jon, why don't you start playing Travian with us? Then you can talk about that on your show!

Travian will make you look way cooler to the ladies than a dumb old guitar!

I completely agree. M&M especially (well mostly Marty) spend too much time ranting on pointless things sometimes but what do you do when college football and basketball seasons are not in session? Yeah you can talk some MLB and whatever but not nearly the ammount of news or topics to pick from. I'm sure we'll hear a few Iowa Energy shameless promotions out of Marty over the summer, he can never get enough of the Energy talk.

I'm still working when your show is on Jon so the most I catch are podcast interviews from time to time. You can't please everyone obviously but if people are here on nearly a daily basis ranting about what you or M&M said that's good news in your business because that means people are listening to your show.
