Givon Crump is also rated, as are Elijah Johnson and Jamil Wilson. Man, can GMac evaluate talent. He offered several of these guys before they went big. Hopefully he can seal the deal on one of these two.

Evaluating talent doesn't mean jack if you can't get them to sign on the dotted line...

Cougil is really slow

Thank you Wes Johnson for the great 2 years you gave Iowa State. Wish you could've stayed. Best of luck to you, wherever you end up.
"The one thing I really want to say is to tell the fans thank you for everything," Johnson said. "You rooted for me, you were behind me with my injury, and I really appreciated that."

no kidding. How hard is it to realize a kid in the top 150 needs a scholly?

I think people are saying that he identifies and begins recruiting players before they are in the top 150. And I agree with them there. The problem has been signing those kids.

I guess if a kid is really top 150 talent... it shouldn't take a brilliant mind to determine so. Those types are usually very obvious to deserve scholarships.
