There will be a cap city league this year starting Sunday, June 15, and it will be at the same gym it was at last year (can't remember the name). This came from Troy Skinner (actually his wife after she talked to him this pm) so the info should be good.
That would be the Valley Southwoods Freshman High School gymnasium. Take Mills Civic Parkway east from I-35. As it starts veering toward the NE, take a right on Fuller Road. It is probably a quarter mile in on Fuller Road, on the North side of the road. Can't miss it.

Anyone else think it's humorous that Troy Skinner drives a cardinal colored station wagon? At least, that's who I assume those vanity plates belong to....
BTW-How 'bout a more specififc thread title next time? I tuned in thinking we had a commitment or something...
It's pretty nice of Troy do all that work to run the league when it's mostly ISU and Drake players. My sister and his wife are best buds from their pom pom days at Iowa so I've got to know him a little and he's a real nice guy (for a hawk). I put up a new thread so it wouldn't get buried in the other thread on the cap city league where people were wondering if there would be a league this year. Didn't mean to raise your hopes on a recruit.
I dont really understand why they play at Southwoods? Its at least a 45 minute drive for the ISU players. Cant they play a few games at Ankeny high. It would be about the same distance for the Drake and ISU players.
