Negedu, past ISU recruit, wants out of his Arizona scholarship because of all the turmoil down there. Wants to open up recruiting again.

Tenn and Indiana want him. He would be perfect in Bruce Pearls system. Not so Much in Gmac's system. I would take him in a heartbeat though.

I'm not so up to speed about the situation down at Arizona? would anyone like to fill me in? and has he said anything about the colleges he is looking at now?

He was a Wayne recruit, though, right? I don't know that he has ties to the current staff.

Lute took a leave of absence and named Kevin O'Neil interim coach and coach when he retires. Lute comes back and kicks O'Neil to the curb and possibly some other assisstants. All the time he and his ex are playing out their divorce over the airwaves and in the papers. Big time soap opera.

I actually believe ISU has a pretty good shot at him, for two reasons.
1. He and Craig were best friends at Brewster
2. GMac and Coach Otz are very good friends with Brewsters coach. That's one of the reasons we got Craig.
As for the schollie situation, Alex can move to a walk-on if needed. I really think we have a chance at him, if we can recruit against the super powers.

Where would he play if he did come to ISU. He's 6'6 and he plays where wesley would. I'm not saying i wouldn't want the kid because that would be a good situation to have in having too many people at one spot., but i was just curious as to where he would play.

He thoeretically could play the 2 or 5, and would be most comfortable at the 3/4

From watching his videos, I'm sure he will want to play in an up-tempo style of ball. He definately is not the prototypical GMac recruit, who can hit from outside but I would take him in a second.

I just laugh everytime we have a thread on bringing in a new player: every time we say AT can just move off schollie to make room for the new player. I woulk think AT would be busting his butt in practice everytime he hears about a possible new player. Let's watch him in CAP League if it happens this summer. We will see if he turns into a scoring machine, ala Jiri.
