Obviously this is a huge loss but after having a night to sleep on it I am ready to move on. Brackins will have to bring his A game every night of the week. This makes getting JVB all that more important.

I haven't commented about the WJ situation since yesterday morning when I was really ticked off. I still don't have anything good to say about Wesley but I think we fans need to keep something in mind. There is no need to penalize the rest of the team because of what WJ did. If you are mad at WJ, how is not getting season tickets or not going to games going to get back at WJ. IMO, the best way to get back at WJ is prove that ISU is THE place to be. And fans can do that by putting their full support behind the team that IS still here and ARE still TRUE Cyclones. Fan support can show players and recruits that ISU is the place to play.

Please just remember WHO you are mad at. Do not direct your disgust and disappointment at those who still choose to be here. Diante and Craig and others all need your support still. We don't want them to see a big group of fickle fans.

Here's the way I see it. I just pretend he doesn't get hurt last year, has a great year and enters the Draft. Either way, he's gone. I'm pumped to see others step it up next year. Can't get much worse than 4-12 anyways, so we pretty much can either do what people will expect OR overachieve.

Hey mods, ever think of modding the thread so it stays on topic? I know that seems to go against the culture here but that'd be a great way to keep this thread from turning into trouble.

I received an email from the owner of a big message board for Kentucky last night asking for info on Wesley. He said it was all but done. We exchanged some emails but he kept digging for more and more and I finally cut him off.

He kept trying to get any juicy rumors he could, not the most legit sounding of "reporter". Anyways, I told him the facts and that was it. He didn't have any knowledge other than that Wes was most likely going there.

I will admit I let emotions get to me in the past thread and that's part of the reason we have a new one. Let's focus on the Wesley topic and nothing else in this thread please. We have let almost everything go with this meltdown and haven't done any moderating, BUT, this thread needs to stay on focus for those that want to share about this particular topic.
