Brad Reese
Is the signing period over officially now? Because Brad Reese had this to say on his Myspace status " Brad is Iowa State looks really good right now!"
I think if he could still sign w/ us, he would. Is the spring period officially over now?

Interesting development...

Re: Brad Reese
I don't know that I'm that excited about him. Although it would get our mind off Wesley for about 2 seconds.

He could, however, verbally commit to enroll in August and be eligible for a scholarship and playing time this coming year. There just would be no binding commit on either party.

Re: Brad Reese
According to one website this year's spring signing period for basketball is April 16 to May 21.
As for your signature line, don't worry about predators. My signature line will be watching over you...

Re: Brad Reese
Was he the one who was going back to JUCO? Or did no one sign him? I wouldn't mind getting him in if possible. Just a warm body to fill that spot couldn't hurt...especially when he's a JUCO and would not take a spot in the 2010 class.

Re: Brad Reese
Why not save the scholi for next year and spend 12 months recruiting a player that will help in the future, stay a cyclone and help the team improve instead of filling a spot with a warm body

Re: Brad Reese
I think Reese would be a solid get right now. Too bad we didn't get Jimmy Butler. We need to be competitive next year or it will kill our recruiting.

Re: Brad Reese
I would take Reese, he or Jimmy Butler seemed like they could replace Rahshon as our defensive stopper. Right now we really don't have someone that could guard the other teams top scorer.

Who will guard the tops scores in the Big 12 next year?
