Re: some good news...
Not to thread jack or anything, but I heard from a friend in Ames that Larry was working out in Ames this morning.
Is there something going on that both of these guys are back for?

Hmm. Johnny once had an incident with a player, that led to the player transferring (he told me himself). Thank goodness that was long before the interweb. And no, I'm not "giving".
Love Johnny. I'll say it again--he deserves a statue in front of Hilton.

I agree with you on the statue. I remember one time Barry Stevens messed up and Johnny called a time- out, grabbed Barry and sat him down on a chair and read him the riot act. No one really thought much about it at the time. My, how times have changed.

However, lucky for you, since you agree with them you will get no such treatment.
I miss the "good old days" with Johnny at the helm of the USS Cyclone MBB Program. I hope everyone realizes that the only reason there has been all the talk about the WJ departure is because Johnny made us care passionately about ISU BB as we had never done before...I do not believe without JO that ISU would have nearly the passion for MBB that we currently have.
By the way, did he say how Romie is doing?

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -

Is there something going on that both of these guys are back for? Larry was back in town for his son's confirmation over the weekend I believe.

“I’m just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard,” Eustachy joked. “If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, he’ll be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.” http://blogs.dmjuice.com/?cat=43 -
