Are we going to be hard on Sean again this year if he slumps in scoring again? It worked last year =)

Post slump, Sean was one of the most accurate shooters on the team. Especially of the guys returning.

Heck yeah, once he hit his first, it rocked his confidence out. When the ball was in his hands, post-slump, you could almost guarantee a good play was unfolding. Not just his 3's , but he took it hard to the hoop as well. I liked what I saw and hope he builds on that.

Re: Who will be our leading scorer other than CB?
In the last 13 games of the season (including the tourney game against A&M) here are Sean's stats...
FG - 28/58 - 48.3%
3PT - 14/31 - 45.2%
I'd venture to guess other than perhaps Jiri's FG stats, those are the best shooting stats in any 13 game span on our team - and - rather high on the Big 12 stat list as well.
Sean was our best FT shooter all year at 83% to boot...and tied for the best assist/turnover ratio on the season.

Using the Tim Floyd formula of two players scoring 50% of the points, I'd guess that in the ISU 60 ppg offense CB will average 18 and Lucca will average 12. Don't worry, I have no rep power to take away - that was done previously because I voiced my opinion. Good thing I don't care.

We saw how Diante can get to the hoop. He either was making the shot or getting fouled. Either is a good outcome. I hope we see more of it and I hope he is stronger. So, with that, I picked Diante.
I really wanted to pick Lucca but I gotta go with the known at this point.

Re: Who will be our leading scorer other than CB?
I hate to put more pressure on a guy, and also hate to go with a guy that I haven't yet seen play much, but from what I hear about the tools Staiger has, I voted for him.
I really don't think anyone other than Brackins will average double figures in points, and I think Staiger will get around 9-10 a game.

As in, less than last season.

Gotta go with my boy Lucca. He is a Wunderkind, beware the Staig!
