Isn't that just the list of schools that asked for his release initially? So if Kentucky asks for his release would McDermott grant it?

No Kentucky? Are we playing them in the future?
Once again this makes no sense b/c CyFan13 said he was transferring to Kentucky
I was still hoping that we wouldn't release him.....
Am I the only one that thinks the West Virgina listing interesting? Huggy saw Wes play and has a well documented past of pushing the envelope when it comes to rules. If there was some tampering involved, that could be the school.
However if Wes thought Gmac was a hard personality to play for, he'll have a rude awakening with Huggy. I actually think they're very similar in coaching styles.
This will be interesting.
Does Wes request these schools early to throw off the scent of Kentucky and then ask for a release to them later on?
Haluska would have had to pay 1 year of in state tuition
The list of schools that sent paper work to ISU asking for a release was much longer than eight. I suspect that these are schools that Mac and Pollard are certain weren't involved in the tampering. That is my guess why KY isn't on the list. I also suspect that Mac knows all of the coaches on the list, and he knows none of them are "Player's Coaches."
Wesley may be going to a better team, but he is mistaken if he thinks this is going to make his life any easier.
There was no tampering. The only thing Mac was concerned about was Wes wasn't getting sound advice. Somebody was pushing him to change schools. That's what was fishy. They aren't going to solve anything holding him back any longer. We'll never know, let's move on. We have bigger fish to fry... no pun intended.
Ok so lets say he transfers to one of those schools. He sits out a year then he requests to transfer again and winds up at Kentucky. :biglaugh:
Classy move by Iowa State....JP and Mac took the high road.
