And I have no doubt that this thread blows and KY is more than capable of dragging their own program through the mud, without the help of this board.

Glad I am dealing with the cream of the crop when it comes to intelligence (or at least knowledge about NCAA sports). Dude, get over yourself. Funny how ISU fans can "drag Kentucky through the mud" yet no one cares about ISU or knows that we exist. Whatever. No apologies here. No one can convince me that Billy G isn't dirty, whether he had anything to do with WJ or not.

Not that it matters anyways. It's not like anyone outside of Ames cares about Cyclone hoops (or possibly even knows it exists).
Then why are you here? I mean, if we're so unimportant, you're all that and your **** doesn't stink, and there is no connection between our player leaving and your school, you have absolutely no reason to care what the people of Ames have to say.
So either you have absolutely no life, or you lie about the life you do have. Either way you're in the wrong place asking for the wrong thing. I saw this thread before anyone else responded and just smiled, waiting to see the "apologies" you would be getting.
Let me add mine. I'm sorry you're an *** with nothing better to do than belittle people on an internet message board, and judge them off of their behavior at a time when emotions are running high, rathern than when they are rational and reasonable.

Re: Apologies are due (Kentucky)
So do know if Iowa State granted Wes all the releases he wanted? Or was there a school or schools that we didn't give him. Also, the press release mentioned that McDermott talked to Wes's mom several times over the weekend---any significance to this?

Wow that speaks volumes. I think I'm going to sign off now and go spend time with people that have real intelligence. Like intelligence for things that matter. I'm thinking people with a college degree that actually use it for something...
If your basis for intelligence is knowledge of Kentucky basketball, thats a sad, sad little world you live in.
On a side note, maybe the mafia that burried me last night would be so good as to buy mrfreddyx a pair of cement shoes for a long walk off of a short pier, as an "appology" gift

Perhaps there is a reason Kentucky wasn't included on the release...maybe, just maybe, tampering took place... -

Just goes to show you when you jump to conclusions based on internet speculation, it can lead to a fan base losing respect for you. I never had any problems with ISU before but to me your fans will forever be known as "the one's that drug the Kentucky name through the mud based on your own insecurities with absolutely NO base or evidence to any wrongdoing."
As for the "Insider" that broke this "news" causing this hysteria. Goes to show you that posters like "cyismydog" are completely ignorant to what goes on in college basketball and to take their word as gospel only makes the followers look stupid. Boo freakin' HOO! OK, we're sorry, now go cry to your momma and don't ever come back.

Give Freddy a break guys. The sheep were on to him when he tried to sneak up on them with knee boots and velcroe gloves and refused to get their heads stuck in the fence so he is a little frustrated at the moment. Add to that he found out last night that his mother is taking his sister's side who also just happens to be his ex-wife. Life isn't to Rosy for him this morning. -

Like coaches who have recruiting violations at schools like UTEP? How about dodging a DUI charge at UTEP? This is stuff that's happened in college basketball to a certain coach. Another thing that happens in college basketball: when people think of Kentucky, Louisville is the in-state basketball school.

Re: Apologies are due (Kentucky)
You tell us to not jump to conclusions. Yet the conclusion that you jumped to was the kentucky was never involved because they weren't on the list. Maybe, just maybe, the ISU AD and staff decided to NOT allow a particular school for a particular reason. I know; crazy stuff I'm spouting here. I'm probably just some whacked out conspiracy theorist.
