Makes sense. Prioleau has a good relationship with TCU and gives them a shot at a player of Barnes' caliber that they didn't have before Jean got there.

Don't you think that would be a pretty big stab in the back to GMAC if TCU took him? Just saying..
With Lucca, Brackins, Garrett, Buckley and that 2010 class we could be pretty damn good.

Don't hear much from their basketball program though, and they play in a much smaller conference. We're not a top tier program, but being in the Big 12, we give the chance for a lot more exposure.

I would like hear Coach Pri's pitch to Barnes as to why he should go there as opposed to North Carolina, Kansas, Michigan State, or even Iowa State. That should be a good one...

Let's all just wait and see until Barnes himself says where he wants to go. Until then, it's up in the air

My comment was meant as joke. However, as you bring up the issue of exposure, there's a pro basketball team in DFW, whose scouts regularly attend TCU and SMU MBB games. The local TV stations (the fifth largest media market in the nation) all show TCU MBB highlights for nearly all games. He'd get all the exposure he needs.

We've also got a pro team in Des Moines, and as they get acclamated to their surroundings, our players will get their attention as well.

Dallas Mavericks or Iowa Energy...hmmm...

I doubt the Mavericks are getting much of their talent from TCU. The Energy are tied to the Bulls, it isn't like the Energy are a team from Europe just out on their own.

That's not the point. You claimed that HB would get much more exposure playing for ISU in the Big 12 than he would playing at TCU. Given TCU's geographic location, I simply think you are wrong on that one...
