Re: Drew Parker
Well let's see it's ISU, Duke, and KSU. I hope his dad puts pressure on him.

Another guard....Let the panic begin.

Re: Drew Parker
We could have 20 guards on this team in 2011 and nobody will care if one of them has the last name Barnes.

Re: Drew Parker
Depending on how many players quit between now and 2010. That is how many scholly's we have
-
Re: Drew Parker
I was under the impression we only had one open schollie for 2010 for sure, belonging to Notorious VDB, which would end up with Dykstra. Then we have Wes', depending on whether or not we want to bank it.

That is what I thought and today we have had two new offers, one for '09 and this for '10. Is there one for '09 we aren't planning on filling?
What would it say if we withdrew all of our offers to everyone but Harrison? No recruiting trips, no phone calls, no mailings, to anyone but him?
Probably putting too many eggs in one basket, no matter how big that basket it.

Re: Drew Parker
With all of the deflections it's hard to keep up with, but I thought early on Wes' scholarship would be replaced with Harrison in '10. So, if everyone would have stayed in place we would have only have the one scholarship (Harrison) in 2010. CrossCyed have you updated your spreadsheet?

Re: Drew Parker
Our men's basketball recruiting situation is a cluster****, simply put. Between transfers and what not, our classes are going to be extremely unbalanced.

Players would always quit right after I'd update it, so I quit. -
Re: Drew Parker
kg-cyclone will Drew be camping with us this summer?

Re: Drew Parker
Drew is a good player and prospect but he would be incredibly tough to land. We obviously have a great connection to him but when it comes to Duke or Iowa State, his dad's weight is only going to carry so far. I like our chances with Barnes much more at this point.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
