Re: Walker injures knee, may return to K-State
I hope he stays healthy because I'd love to see what he can do in the NBA. He's a freak of an athlete.

Looks like we'll now get to see how good Martin is. He's got a lot of coaching to do to get the 08-09 team to be competitive in the B12.

Walker was a midyear arrival at K-State because he was in school too LONG and he exhausted his eligibility. Sorry but you couldn't be more wrong there.

He played in a few high school games when he was supposed to be an 8th grader, then transferred to a different school. The state high school whatever denied him another year of eligibility during his senior year because of those games so he graduated early and enrolled at K-State.
Either way I believe that K-State said that both Walker and Beasley were eligible when they left school.

This is correct. Bill is actually really smart. Just doesn't apply himself like a lot of college kids.

Nope, it's because he exhausted his eligibility playing varsity as a 7th/8th grader....Uhhhhhh I think you're wrong here. -
Re: Walker injures knee, may return to K-State
Either way he's gone. K-State will be near the bottom once again. I don't believe Martin is a coach of the year candidate next year.

Re: Walker injures knee, may return to K-State
Wonder if he's second guessing his decision to stay in the draft yet...

I think he is going to fit in pretty well with the Celtics...
