KU's Collins exposes self, does not show up in court
KUsports.com - Judge rules against KU basketball's Collins in woman's civil lawsuit
I think the whole situation is weird, (no criminal charges, just civil charges) but apparently Sherron didn't respond to the civil charges so the judge found the case in favor of the victim.

Does KU have a law program? Maybe they need to contact U of I?

Maybe this song was going through Collins' head: -

One more thing- do these judges rule against the basketball and football players every time? It seems like there may be a vendetta (the opposite of Chad May justice in Manhattan) with these judges.
A lot was made over Brandon's tickets and that judge obviously was trying to get some publicity. These kids are not perfect but they are pretty important to the city of Lawrence. I sure hope that Johnny Law takes this into account, while still doing the right thing in the end.

This is another one; when did the NCAA's and the Big 12 tourney start going into May? -

Maybe that song was playing in the elevator?

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

KU's Sherron Collins Sued For $75,000
Sherron was sued in civil court yesterday by a 35 year old woman claiming he exposed himself to her on an elevator and rubbed up against her even after she told him to stop. Knowing Sherron as well as I do, I don't believe this at all. He is a shy, quiet person and in the 2 years I've known him I have not once seen him act inappropriately towards a woman. It will be interesting to see what comes of all this, as Sherron intends to fight it. CJOnline - KU's Collins loses lawsuit -
Re: KU's Sherron Collins Sued For $75,000
What would poses someone to whip it out in an elevator and start rubbing up against someone? This claim seems a bit far fetched.

Re: KU's Sherron Collins Sued For $75,000
Sherron intends to fight it?????? Sounds like the judge had no choice but to rule in her favor because he provided no defense after being served the summons on May 14th. That is some fight...
Although it would be easy to say she is looking for some money and knows he might have a bonus in a year to more then pay her...

Re: KU's Sherron Collins Sued For $75,000
Sounds to me like he's guilty and that lady was just in the wrong time at the wrong place. If I were him, my defense would be that I had to urinate REALLY bad and everyone knows that if you hold it in you could get uromisitisis ... she just happened to be there and frightened him.
