Some of you sound like Hawkeyes. Grow up. Kansas had an amazing team last year, like it or not. This guest said nothing derogatory to us and was just asking for a fellow Big 12 team's help.
| Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans… I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care… I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it… let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

Incidentally, "sevenyearhawk" was probably a bad choice of username when asking a favor of this particular fanbase... I know UK is the Jayhawks, but still.
That said, there's no reason to act like a moron, which is what a lot of you folks are doing. The OP was just asking for help based on our Big XII brotherhood (and CF's stellar track record in online voting).

At the risk of having my clone card revoked, KU will get my vote. You earned it by pounding the snot out of Callahan's Huskers and I will allow those credits to be used by the basketball team.

well, that was quite a response!!
Iowa State owned Kansas in hoops for a couple of years.
What can I offer?
Well, I attended VEISHA a couple of times, and I own a record for puking out of a third-story window at a defunct frat house ...
I almost transferred to Iowa State in 1997, and still have a few good friends from there.
I'll have to think of something ... I guess because of all of those things, I never considered Iowa State or Cyclone fans "rivals"
I even stepped between a Jayhawk and a Cyclone fan to stop a fight the last time you all won in Allen Fieldhouse, in OT about three years ago?
I've got a bunch of foam hands from that game in my basement, where can I send those?
I know "hawk" is bad in my name, hence the clearly BLUE avatar ...
But that's my handle everywhere, from Iowa State to A&M, from Mizzou to Colorado.
***
How about a promise to heckle some Hawkeye fans, I'm not crazy about any members of the Big Ten!

What's this? A tolerable KU basketball fan?
Does... not... compute...
| Deep within the heart of Iowa, a storm is brewing...
... the winds of change ripple throughout the vast fields of corn surrounding the small college town of Ames.
The Gene Chizik era of football continues, and, with it, a renewed attitude of pride, determination, and success. This is Cyclone Football. |

Didn't it come out that Arthur should not have even been eligible to be accepted into school because of grades? Also, didn't Chalmers dad magically get a job at the school, something like they really needed some information about basketball from that hotbed of competition in Alaska?
No personal offense intended, but in my life experience, KU fans are near the worst I have encountered. I would put them on par with Nebraska football fans. Astounding arrogance and sense of entitlement. Nope, you folks can pound sand, and shove that stupid chant while you are at it.
