Let's hope the relationship with JBo doesn't lean him towards the cheeseheads.

Agreed...I would hate to lose a recruiting battle to Wisconsin.

They fully expect Marcus to start for a strong Linn Mar team next year.

JBo probably won't have time to hang out with Marcus much but I assume he'll put in a good word for Wisky.

I remember you talking about Marcus before. Have you seen him play? What do you think of his game?

Marcus has good people around him and potential to do some special things.

If it were possible, I would take a million of those kinds of kids.

What the heck is in the water at Linn-Marr?! I've never heard of that kind of talent coming out of a what, 3A school. And all the talent seems to be going out of state, whats up with that?

Linn Mar is 4A. A couple of other players to be looking at. Zach Bohannon and Nate Hutchison.

I wonder how long he will take to make a choice. I wouldn't want to think about that for four years.

I've never seen Paige play but spoke to a coach recently.

Zach and Nate aren't ISU material. My opinion, not the coach's. Although I'd bet he'd agree.

Linn Mar is a big school and basketball is king. Football was great about 20 years ago but now they are all basketball.

Re: Marcus Paige Article

Having just graduated from Linn-Mar I have never actually seen Marcus play. I do know the coaches however and from what I understand he runs the floor very well even with the starting varsity. I would love to see him here, since Grant, Alex, Jason, and Jordan have all passed ISU by it would be great to finally get one.

Gah whenever I read anything about Linn-Mar bad memories come back

For anyone that graduated there not too long ago ('05 or so) did you happen to be at the North Scott / Linn-Mar substate game at The Pit in .... '04 maybe? That game was rediculous and I still can't believe they had #1/#2 in a substate game

"I just back into town and I hear all this stuff, and Buster Olney is making my team up now and [Genske] wants to tell me who is going to pitch here. No one is going to tell us who to put on our team and no one on ESPN is going to tell us who should pitch for my team. " -Gardy
