I'd happily take two of them, but I might like Virgin better as a quarterback. Especially since Guiton barely broke a 5.0 forty at a combine. Not great for a "dual threat" guy. Thanks for hijacking this thread. Hopefully we can have an update from the scrimmage sometime this after noon.

Re: Visitors for Kent State
Hey, the thread was already hijacked. I'd whack ya one, if you weren't from my dad's hometown, and I didn't still have uncles and cousins there.
That said, it looks like it'll be a great day, and I expect the gameday atmosphere at the Jack to make a great impression on the manifold visitors. (feel free to start a thread that lists "scrimmage" in the topic). -

Go Cyclones - Pre-gaming at Hilton
Among those in attendance were the ever popular Harrison Barnes, now appearing on a message board near you, and ISU commit Marquis Gilstrap. Let’s start with everyone’s favorite Ames High all-star.
HB was dunking on demand, showing exactly why he’s listed on recruiting top 10 lists across the Internet. He did a two-handed 360. He nailed a three from almost NBA range, then followed it up by swinging from the rim on the next possession. The kid looks good.
For his part, Gilstrap wasn’t far behind. He had several impressive dunks of his own, nailed a nice three, and took the defensive end of the game slightly more seriously than most on the court. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound forward floated all over the court, hinting to the smattering of fans who’d wandered in from their tailgates about what they can expect in 2009.

Was nice to see HB taking in the football game with the basketball team. Also nice to see Lucca again.

Amen.
“One day we’ll be in here celebrating a Big 12 championship,” Rhoads said. “That I can promise you.” -

If you've heard a word about the scrimmage you've heard more than 99.99% of us.

Probably no one there watching to report.
