Just saw Justin Hamilton walking around the mall with a boot on his foot. Asked him and he said they think its just a stress fracture. Just a little FYI
Early in the year when there was all the talk about Hamilton's weight gain, someone on this board said that with quick weight gain, players can get stress fractures. Who ever said that totally called it. Lets hope Justin didn't gain too much weight too quickly or too much weight for his frame.

I wonder if growth could be a component of this, too? Justin's a young guy, isn't he? (Still 17, or is he 18?) Maybe he's still adding height, then add the weight gain, then add conditioning and weightlifting. . . .
Maybe it's time for him to lay off the numerous PB sandwiches he's been consuming daily ;-)

Hopefully we caught it early enough that he doesnt decide to transfer to Syracuse or Kentucky

I hope the team doctors tell him it's just a deep bone bruise and GMac tells him to suck it up. Oh wait a minute -- scratch that idea.
Stress fractures are the worse alot of times your better off breaking your leg then trying to make a stress fracture heal. I see a red shirt in store for him.
