Right on man. If we don't get Barnes, it certainly won't be because Gmac didn't put in the effort/time/etc.

As for Gilstrap...I hope my gut feeling is right and we got a steal!

I've heard from two separate sources that he's good...one of which seen Gilstrap play before his injury.

So he's committed (for next year's squad). And he hasn't met GMac OR seen the school/campus/facilities?

Isn't Coach Rutter the lead guy on young Gilstrap? If so, they must have a tight relationship. And, if Gil and Mac have talked a number of times on the phone. . . .

Still, even though he's got one year to play and maybe the campus isn't important to him for that reason, you'd think he'd want to meet his future teammates before committing.
