Chris Colvin article
http://www.chicagohoops.com/articles1/colvinisu.htm
It would be absolutely huge to land Colvin, a consenus top 2 player in the Illinois class of 2009, and top 75 nationally. Right now, I would say that Colvin and Darius Smith are our top two target's for 2009.

Re: Chris Colvin article
Good article because it calls Iowa State a heavyweight and alleges that we are young but stacked with promising players.
The link doesn't work until you take the .htm off the address.
Try this: Iowa State University Hosting Class Of 2009 Chicago Whitney Young Star Chris Colvin On Campus For An Official Visit Children will grow up to be,
not what they are told but what they see. -
Re: Chris Colvin article
That article is so Pro-ISU, I'm not sure a press release from our own athletic department could have been more positive.

He sounds like the type of player we need for the future. Lets get him.

Re: Chris Colvin article
it would be nice to see ISU focus on the Chicago market. It makes perfect regional sense. Think of all of the Chicago kids that come to school at ISU.

Re: Chris Colvin article
Unfortunately(?), he was at the football game. How was the crowd?
Does it seem odd to anyone that with Diante and Dominique, we need another point guard? Not that I'm complaining, anything to make this group better. And Colvin looks like a very good player.

PG wouldn't seem to be a position of need, but I imagine G-Mac would like to go with 3 guards with Diante moving to a combo guard position & Lucca on the wing.

Re: Chris Colvin article
I wonder if the writer of that article is an Iowa State grad or something. Wow, Big 12 heavyweight? Sorry to say, we haven't been relevant regionally or even much in the conference since the 2004-05 season.
