We didn't match up well against big teams last year. I think the man-to-man matchups, from a physical standpoint, will be more in our favor this year.
Just one guy's opinion....

If you watched the Baylor game last year when he went off for all the threes, I thought the thing I would like to see more of from him was the high post pick and roll. He had a couple of times from the elbow when he took his guy off the dribble to the whole. I don't want to see him looking for the three all the time, but if hitting a few makes his guy play honest, then so be it. However, i would love to see us use him on the pick and roll more, and I am fine with him popping the 15 ft. face-up jumper. Yes, we look at his height and want him to camp on the post, but I think this additional aspect of his game should be exploited.

I'm totally with you on this...the guy can really be a dead-eye from the 3-point line, there's a lot we can gain from that. I think we've been beaten down by Jiri shooting the 3-ball too much, Brackins is a much, much better college player.
A lot still rests with how good our dribble penetration is this year. The better it is, the less we have to settle for set 18 foot or 3-point shots as time expires. If we improve the way i envision us with regards to dribble-drive, i think we can move Brackins and JVB around a lot more. If not, they'll need to camp out and try to get us second chances on offense.

Re: Some love for Craig!
Brackins has the potential to be a better player than Jiri but he wasn't last year. I do expect him to be better this year but we'll see.
