Record projections for this year
i think we out to come out of a very weak non-conference schedule at 13-2. the only games i could see us possibly losing there are:
@ UNI
Oregon State
Drake
@ Iowa
@ Houston
i say we go 3-2 in those, although they are all winnable games we will lose at least one or two. all the others ought to be wins unless we just dont show up
as i look at conference i see 5 wins, possibly 6-8 if we progress better than i expect.
if we go 5-11 in conference thats 18-13 by my predictions. i can see us as good as 22-9 with this schedule, but i would be happy with the improvement if we go 18-13. thats my official prediction.

Wow put the koolaid down. No way do we go 13-2 in non conf.

Wow! I hope your right. I'm not nearly as optimistic for this year, however, I can see us being much better then some think. I could also see us being worse then any of us want.

Re: Record projections for this year
A little above .500 and hopefully NIT.

Re: Record projections for this year
We will either go 11-4 or 10-5. Depends on if we beat aTm this week.

Re: Record projections for this year
I would say 11-4 in non conference, 7-9 in conference. I would take a 18-13 record from this group of guys this year.

Re: Record projections for this year
My prediction is 8-8 Big 12 and 21-10 overall. We would be favored in every non-conference game if that game were played today with the exception of @ EIU, @ UNI, and @ Houston – and those games would be pick ‘ems. Due to the Big 12 being down just a bit this year I think we’ll go 6-2 on our home court and 2-6 away from Hilton to pull out a 8-8 overall Big 12 record. 21-10 won’t be enough though due to the strength of schedule and we’ll still need a win or two in the Big 12 tournament to seal the deal and get a ticket punched to the Big Dance. One in we’ll make a magical run to the Final Four where we’ll lose a close one in the National Semifinals. -
Re: Record projections for this year
There is no way we are favorites against Drake.

I don't see us losing to Oregon State, but I wouldn't be shocked about losing to Hawaii - mainly due to traveling and all of that...
