If he continues to make the progress he has so far...Nov 14,15,16 we should see him in action for limited minutes.
Now that is great news!
Make sure we show him how much we appreciate him sticking with us...
I really hope I can be at the game when he first steps on the floor.
The NCAA will rule that a player cannot return from knee surgery that quickly, and that Lucca violated unwritten NCAA rules in the process, thereby deeming him ineligible for the entire year, as well as his teammates, who were breathing the same air as him at the time that he violated those rules, and therefore Iowa State is no longer allowed to ever play basketball.
If he doesn't average Maravich like numbers, some people are going to be disappointed, because apparently he is the second coming, only German....
I'm just hoping he is past his string of bad luck. Sometimes when a player is snake bitten with bad luck, it just keeps coming.
Keeping my fingers crossed for an injury free, successful year for Lucca.
And don't forget the innocent players that were on the same team as a guy that returned from knee surgery that quickly. Clearly they all returned from surgery too quickly as well and are guilty also.
something tells me that this injury is going to hamper him all year and severely limit his minutes throughout the season. Maybe that's just the cyclone fan in me.
I honestly just want to see him play. I was very impressed with him 2 years ago when I saw him in the CCl. I don't think Lucca will ever average big numbers but I think he brings something to the team that nobody else does.
I heard that he can't dribble, and shoots granny-style.
(Just trying to lower expectations.)
Don't know what he is going to average, but we definitely need him.
