What are YOU doing this Saturday?

I'm trying to decide what I want to do this Saturday- watch on tv as the football team limps through the end of another losing season, or watch live in person the first MBB game even though it's only an exhibition. What is everybody else doing?

-Watching the football game on tv
-Watching the MBB exhibition live at Hilton (recording the FB game to watch later)
-Neither
-Both (I have a time machine)

I feel your pain. It's been a few years since I've had to miss an FB game for a wedding, although that was a Seneca Wallace game against a cupcake so it sucked to miss. I already know I'm going to miss the Army game next year for a wedding, which I have to go back to Seattle for.

That's what I'm leaning towards too, but I hate the thought of missing a basketball game. I guess I can't even vote in my own poll yet because I have to think it over.

Pretty much the same feeling here. Although I wouldn't mind seeing an ISU team beat up on someone this weekend.

Like I have said before, whenever there is both a basketball and football game on, basketball gets my vote every time. I don't care if its an exhibition. I love college basketball a lot more than football. Unlike in football, if you lose a game in basketball you still have a shot to win it all.

What I DO like about the Exhibition game is that we get to see a mix of pretty much all the players.

Not sure how Mac is going to handle it this year, but last year I think they subbed in groups at predetermined times, regardless of game situation. I kind of liked watching different groups to see what we've got and what we don't.

Since we had the scrimmage, however, perhaps they'll handle it more like a game so that the starters can spend a considerable amount of time working together on the floor.

Either way, I look at this as an opening day where I can evaluate the talent on the court before we start playing for real.

I love MBB more than football and I'm starting to check out of the football season a little bit...
