    I use to think that.

Exactly. A lot of people have taken to WBB simply because they thrash people. Winning is fun. It puts butts in the seats and money in the bank. Just imagine the impact on ISU sports if the women didnt bring in any bank.

We all know that this team is not going to be a contender so why don’t we bypass all of the negative crapola and try to focus on what they did well. Even if they only win four conference games. Who is with me!!
I'm with you! At least until they lose their first game.

For the men... the best thing about sports is the score is 0-0 when the game begins. Worrying less about 'the program' and more about making it a fun game day atmosphere has helped me enjoy football and mens BB.

What is a real win/loss projection? I think we will end up just like last year.

Let's not forget about the wrestlers. They'll be shooting for their third Big 12 title in a row and be in a very good position to make a run for the National Championship!

Does this have something to do with the uniforms??

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

Re: Here is to being above .500

I really think this season can be surprising, mostly because the expectations are pretty low. I want to see a competitive team, not necessarily a team that wins every game. If I can watch competitive games then I'll be a happy man, despite with or without a lot of wins.
