I agree with most of it.

That Johnson - Taggert - Brackins front line could have been nice...
Depressing. It's gonna be difficult for ISU to get it's bearing with the amount of talent coming in and out of this conference every year.
I still think Taggart sucks
I just didn't like Taggart's work ethic. Hopefully its changed.
I don't like that there is no mention of the players we brought in. I at least think JVB is worth a mention since he has college ball experience. I also think the Diante is going to be better than many expect. He was looking much better at the end of last season. Add in other guards to support him with outside shooting (theoretically), and I definitely think this team deserves more than a mention of only Craig Brackins.
I have to say the comment about no talent in the supporting cast was a little harsh....
I things go well, I think the team may surprise some. I guess I don't see the Big 12 as that dominating this year. Texas and OU maybe, but Griffin seems to me to be hot/cold, and Texas was a guard team last year, and Augustine was a spark plug emotionally for the team and someone is going to have to step up.
The good thing is it won't be hard to beat our preseason rankings, and if we don't, then I think we should be questioning this program's success.
can't really argue with anything he said though
I would like to know what leads anyone to believe anything different from what is said?
Typical lazy journalism from a national sportswriter. When people like this put together their "previews," they choose only to do research for the 5-10 best teams, and fill out the rest with weak information that is already fairly obvious. Shouldn't be that surprising. Hopefully we can surprise some people this year.
The coaches picked us in the exact same place and they would know better than any national writer. If we want media people and people within the country to respect us we need to start winning games on the court.
