Hey, Clone Zone, forget the replays..........
This my first year with Clone Zone. I can live with the herky jerky video, but I really wish they would do away with the "instant" replays! There isn't anything instant about them. Before you finish having to watch a play you already saw, the live play down at the other end of the floor is almost over.
Let me see the game live, and save the replay for another time. Geesh!!
Re: Hey, Clone Zone, forget the replays..........
I believe it is the direct feed from the scoreboard...no choice.
Re: Hey, Clone Zone, forget the replays..........
You would think the scoreboard operator could be told not to do the replays, and not to switch to the behind the basket view, ever.

Otherwise known as the "Referee Butt Cam". Thankfully the baseline refs last night weren't overly-wide bodies...

Then you'd have people at the game upset that they didn't show replays on the scoreboard.
Can't win when you're just using the scoreboard video as your internet feed.
Re: Hey, Clone Zone, forget the replays..........
Does anyone know if they're going to put a full replay of the UC-Davis game on CloneZone?
Re: Hey, Clone Zone, forget the replays..........
Funny - I thought the same thing. I never was on who thought floor level camera shots were a good thing - well, unless the cheerleaders were "involved" some how.
Re: Hey, Clone Zone, forget the replays..........
Those floor level/behind the backboard views are horrible. No perspective whatsoever.

The problem with replays at the game is that they're often sponsored. So you try to estimate the time the ad takes while watching the court, and then look up for the replay. Doesn't usually work well. You either get caught looking at the board when the action is live or at the court while the replay's happening.
