Is that anything like Steamed Hams?

BTW, I like what I see out of Hamilton. Even more if he can become a scorer. I thought he knew where to be on the floor, and his positioning looked decent.

I hope they are working with DG on some post moves. Against a man-to-man we could really create some matchup problems spreading the floor and having him post up a smaller guard.

The old Mark Jackson moves. I like it.

    Re: Official ISU/Wisc-Milwaukee Game Thread

I didn't get a chance to watch the game, but look forward to seeing the replay on Clonezone.

I have not seen the board this bubbly in a long time. Must have been impressive as even the negative Nelly's are bouncing off the walls.

Great to hear we hit 3's even without Wes playing. If we can continue to do this, it will open up the middle for us.

The last time I remember our team being able to can 3's consistently with multiple players was when Mr. Horton and Mr. Nurse were in town. Let's hope we can bottle some of that magic again!

That was a fun game. Seeing Diante (and multiple others) rain threes was a blast!

One side of Cyclone Alley tried to get the "Three...Lucca" chant going, but it wasn't working. Given time, that'll sound really good.

I'm impressed that we looked so good without Wes, and comforted that Coach doesn't believe him to have been poisoned by Lucca Legend

And they didn't call any fouls on Petey during the post-game show. He's cleaning up his game!

An athletic '3' like Gilstrap will be just what the Dr. ordered next year. It's what we are missing. A big strong '4' wouldn't bother me either but we could use a R. Clark type out there.

    Re: Official ISU/Wisc-Milwaukee Game Thread

I listened to the game on the radio. The thing I was most pleased with is it sounds like we were actually pushing the ball this year. Secondly, the play by play was having a hard time keeping up with all of the passing taking place. Sounds like we were movig the ball around well - inside-out, around the top, and even a few reverses. I loved listening to it.

Like others, I was concerned with the numbers of 3's that were fired up right away - but wow - we made them. Worked for Drake last year. If you can make them and have an open shot, fire away.
ISU fans are the greatest in the world. All they ask for is hope and the belief that we have a chance to win every time we step on the field - Johnny Majors (paraphrased)

Ya gotta have the horses, man - Johnny Orr.

We did take and make allot of threes. However, making that many threes was not just a product of 'luck'. We ran good sets and passed well out of the double to end up with great looks. I don't remember really one forced 3 we had. Nearly all of them were wide open shots.
