And the arena tickets were sold. People just didn't come.

i dont know i think alot of college athletes would love playing in front of 10k people almost every game no matter who its against i think iowa state has one of the best fan bases in the country and almost every other big 12 coach does to, i remember a quote from rick barnes or someone that said no matter the talent level good or bad, iowa state has a home advantage like no other....I think iowa state getting 10k in the seats is great this early with football still going on except i hope i see no empty seats when oklahoma, KU, baylor come to town along with other big 12 opponets

But...there was nowhere near 10k there.
