If we seriously have a potential Top 25 recruit that have interest in us and we have not put on the 'Full Court Press' on him then someone should be FIRED. :skeptical: IF we have a shot at this stud.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Harrison, but recruiting is basically a business, you do what is best for the program. Harrison has 20 plus schools to choose from so I don't think he would mind if we turned our attention to someone else.
The point of this post is WAKE UP!
Do you guys realize that even if we start putting the heat on Harrison he will not decide until at least his season is over? This kid is a lot smarter than people think. He wants to win a state championship with his team and put himself on the back burner. IMO if we push too hard it will cost us and will push him away to Duke or Kansas. I'm pretty sure they know how to handle these kinds of recruits and won't push too hard or say the wrong things to him. We need to give the kid his space and respect his wishes, if we do so I think things look good for us.
For some reason, I think Mann will transfer to a mid-major at the end of the year. I could also see Boozer doing the same unless he gets more PT. I have no inside information.
With Boozer's defense, I'm not sure who would take him on as a sophomore. I love the guy, but I don't see him being that attractive as a transfer right now.
Mann, maybe. I could see that if it came to it.
I guess both guys have redshirt years, and players anymore are highly mobile, so it's possible. Let's not worry about that too much until the time.
Listen to people here. North Carolina is telling HB that they are only offering him. Duke is the same. But yet, ISU, who needs him 10X more should make him make a decision? The kid hasn't even started his Junior season.
The longer that HB waits, the better it is for us IMO. The shock of being called by Coach K and Roy will rub off. He will be around our players and program. See our fans go crazy after a big win. He will be in the locker room at halftime of a game and realize, "This is where I need to be." He can do that 10 times this season while he can only do it once at UNC
