Yeah there are actually about 20 that are starting as freshman. Some good some bad.
You still didn't name any people......
"These are my new shoes. They're good shoes. They won't make you rich like me, they won't make you rebound like me, they definitely won't make you handsome like me. They'll only make you have shoes like me. That's it." - Charles Barkley
im really really hope that colvin chooses isu. on a side not, would mac know a day or so ahead of when a kid is verbally committing to them? or do they find out along with everyone else? it seems that it kind of goes both ways.
Generally speaking...Recruits will inform all coaches before it is announced.
You cant expect freshmen to compete in high level division 1 league from the day one unless you are like top 3 PG recruits. PG position is probably the most difficult position to play to begin with. Let Buckley learn and grow. Typically most PG take least a year or two to learn to run the game. (I know this from personal experience from playing HS ball).
We all have different expectations of plays, he didn't rip the guy and say he was terrible, couldn't play at the D1 level, should pack it up and go home. He just he wasn't living up to HIS expectations.
He did say that Wes was playing above what he expected but no one said anything about that.
It is exciting this year not to have to rely on the excellence of a freshman! I like the leap from frosh to soph DG has shown so far. I think one thing going against Buckley for some is remembering
"Tricky Ricky" hitting the proverbial freshman wall a few years ago.
Wow. He does look pretty impressive in the first clip. Of course if we would have the same refs that did the games last weekend then he would get whistled for carrying the ball every time down the court.
