Great interview with Chris Colvin on Scout
What a huge signing this is. I like how he talks about already having a great relationship with Brackins. Scout.com: CSR Exclusive: One-On-One With Chris Colvin -
Re: Great interview with Chris Colvin on Scout
Good read. With the way Diante was shooting the three this weekend, do we see Colvin at point, and Diante moved to SG, like Nurse did when Tinsley showed up in 1999?
In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection. -

I posted on the other thread, I watched a few clips on you tube, he reminds me of Tinsley.

Really like the comment that they think Greg is an honest man. No doubt about that.

I second the nomination. This is really a great day for Iowa State.

I will never complain about having two or more guys on the floor at the same time that have the ability to move the ball upcourt.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

I think the long-term plan has been to move DG into more off-guard and wing situations, once Buckley got more experience under his belt.
If you look at the recruits, it really seems like ISU is trying to put the personnel together to go to the Dribble Drive offense. Colvin gives us five really good ball handlers next season (Garrett, Buckley, Eikmeier, Staiger, Colvin). I think we'll be seeing a lot of pick-3 of that group combinations. Having two PGs on the floor simultaneously is a great way to counter the 2-3 zone...i wonder if Boozer stays here after this year now? He probably won't see much playing time this year, and next year is now not looking well for him either.

I'd love to see us press alot more, especially next year with the increased athleticism... But I doubt it will happen...

Seems like our greatest results were when we didn't do that.

Re: Great interview with Chris Colvin on Scout
I don't know the best way to say this except: Through recruiting, this team is shaping up to be just sick.
I love a couple inside brutes to control the paint and rebound, but there is nothing better than watching a team that shows brains, can pass like magicians, dribble like houdini's and shoot like Pete Maravich.
The college game is about ball control and guard play...I dunnno. There is just something so comforting about a team that can handle the ball and get their shot to whomever, when ever they want. Tempo control. Total control. THAT is the goal.
Finally.

I love the press!!! I'm in! Well, I'll watch and cheer. You don't want me in there. I'm a few steps slow.
