Next 6 Games are key
vs. Jacksonville State
vs. South Dakota State
@ Houston (KEY GAME)
vs. Mercer (KEY GAME)
vs. SIU-Edwardsville
vs. Houston Baptist
we should be able to come out at least 4-2 but im hoping for 5-1 or 6-0. That would be a big help to go into Texas 12-3. Houston and Mercer are games i expect to most likely split but i could see both losses or both wins. Your thoughts?

Re: Next 6 Games are key
Anything less than 5-1 is unacceptable, preferably we run the table

After all of this football talk, I totally forgot that it was basketball season... -
Re: Next 6 Games are key
i thot i would try to think about something else. but the more i think, i feel like i brought up another sport on the downhill fall. but its all good

Re: Next 6 Games are key
my basketball enthusiasm has hit a skid after the last 2 losses.

Re: Next 6 Games are key
I think we have to win them all to have any chance at a respectable season. That soft of a non conference schedule is there for a reason. Wins. Period.

Re: Next 6 Games are key
ya if we can win the rest then have a 6,7, or 8 win conference season with a tourny win i think we can make NIT or that new one CBI i think

I think 6-8 wins in conference is probably too much to ask from this team.
As for the next 6 games, I think we'll go 5-1, but several of them will be closer than expected. I know SDSU gave Minnesota a bit of a battle, I expect them to do the same for us.
SUI-Edwardsville and Houston Baptist should be cakewalks, or whatever passes for cakewalks with this team.

Re: Next 6 Games are key
The last time I looked Sagarin had us at #139
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Next 6 Games are key
All we have to do is let Lucca shoot 3 pointers, ALL (as in not a minute less than) night long and get him and Brackins to collaborate when we can't shoot for 3. If those two guys work together, there isn't much that can stop them.

I have ISU losing to Houston based on nothing other than the fact that it is a road game. I assume wins in all of the other games.

Re: Next 6 Games are key
I would be very glad to come out 5-1. Would not be surprised to go 4-2. 6-0 would be a great accomplishment for this team. If we go worse than 4-2, things are worse than I thought....

Re: Next 6 Games are key
i think we jst need to get through this season together and not fall apart or have anyone transfer. nxt will be a good yr if that can happen

I know Mercer has had some quality wins over the last couple years but that's the kind of team we have to expect to beat, especially at home. I'd honestly be disappointed, but not surprised, if we went 5-1 in this stretch. We should not have to worry about whether or not we are going to win games like these.
