On a side note...former recruit Jon Leuer is playing pretty good this year. I just wish Mac woulda been able to seal the deal on some of these posts early on in his tenure....

Do you know if Illinois continues to chase Randall (mmm, sorry) following the Abrams commit? Maybe Weber intends to make room for him.

The Big 11 influence must be a strong one for this kid, at least you'd think. But D-Rob-GMac make a strong 1-2 recruiting punch and are in the game, you say. A fighting chance, that's good.

He had a poor game stat-wise in the Iowa/Illinois Shootout against a pretty quick Dav. Central squad, but I saw the other day he broke out for 20-something in a more recent game.
I agree on the comment about the post players. I'd love to start hearing more about GMac getting in on them as opposed to guards.

Illinois is still recruiting him extremely hard. They want one of the following three: Chasson, Bradley Beal (Kansas Lean) or Donovine Stewart.

Smart kids. Obviously they can see that Iowa desperately needs a good point guard--and likely won't have one before they get there.

Of course, depending on just how Chris Colvin blows up in a Cyclone uni...

I hope Paige gets a chance to get to know Staten (if he hasn't). Nice back court combo. I think Staten will end up at the two and Paige will be a true point.
