Re: Barnes 23 points vs Fort Dodge
Glad you agree with me.
But you, like many others, were incorrect in your assumption that I was on a message board to make friends. That is what AA and Sunday mass is for. I am on here to give an opinion that directly reflects my personality, and if that is rude and brash, so be it.

On a side note, I don't think we are out of the running for Barnes, I just think it is a very long shot (10%).
Also, I don't think it will turn out to be as devasting as everyone around will make it out to be. He will be a 1 and done guy, so while he would help, I would rather have another Stinson/Blalock where they are awesome but just not great enough to be lottery picks, thus they stay in school.
It seems that 3 or 4 years with a good player does more for most programs than 1 year with a great player (exception is Cuse winning the NC with Carmelo).

I honestly don't know what you guys are talking about. There isn't a doubt in my mind Barnes is coming here and can't wait for the special day he commits.

I must say that I am looking forward to the meltdown thread!

Re: Barnes 23 points vs Fort Dodge
Why would you look forward to a meltdown thread? Seems pissy enjoying fellow cyclones misery.
Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
'Struck by a Cyclone
It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town' -

To me, it is essentially a network of people who support an extracurricular branch of a university who's main goal is to further the academic development of its students. The funny part is when these people emotionally collapse because a certain 18 year-old decided he wanted to pursue his academics at another more prominent university.

An education is worthless if you are not smart enough to take millions of dollars guaranteed.

Marley would be deeply saddened by your lack of compassion for your fellow man.

You're right, why would we want good things to happen to our favorite team? What a crazy notion to want good players to come here and win more basketball games and then be disappointed when those things don't happen. That pirate isn't even necessary here.

That would be great... but since its not going to happen, I look forward to the meltdown.
