I know it is pretty much a long-shot dream to win this one, but winning out on the conf schedule would be amazing. Houston is 7-1 on a 7 game win streak. They have beat some average and not so average teams during that streak. I do know they are beating the crap out of most teams when they win.

If we can somehow pull this one out it will be a great non conf season IMO.

this is a big game for us in my opinion because its on the road and we play a decent Mercer team right afterwards. we could possibly be 12-3 by the end of non-conf. or 10-5 which would be awful in my opinion

This game should tell us a lot about what our chances are in the Big 12 this year. According to the Sagarin ratings, Houston would currently be in 9th place in the Big 12.

Drake and Hawaii were just stupid losses. You can't lose those games.
My prediction is a 9 point loss at a decent Houston team on the Road. Hope i am wrong though.

Also, Brackins could very well be shut down against Houston's 6'11 250lb Center... Any time Brackins is forced outside, it greatly hurts our chances.

Has anybody seen this guy? Is he quick for his size? If not, it might be a good thing...Brackins struggles against stronger guys, but if Brackins is quicker, we should be okay.
