This should be an easy win. They have played both UNI and Drake at each of those schools. They don't have any notable wins but they did lose to Drake by only 10 at Drake. UNI beat them by nearly 20.

SDSU has a forward dominated team. Most of their points come from the 3/4 position. Their guards look a bit small. They do have some size in the post with a Senior that is 257 and Junior that is 265.

My only worry is that we don't match up well with their forwards. On the flip side, they probably won't match up well with our guard oriented play.

Lets get another win tonight! Go Cyclones.

I saw them at West Town Pub last night, I know you can't base everything on size, but Craig should have a hay-day.

Well, they also played Minnesota tough at their place.

Bottom line, there is no such thing as an easy win for this team.

We should win, but I doubt it'll be easy.

McDermott is 1-5 against SDSU in his coaching career, from his days at Wayne State and NDSU...of course that was when they were all D-II

The key word is SHOULD. And really, this SHOULD be. I don't like how cyclone fans sit around and worry about a team like SDSU. That shows a lack of swagger by the team. Lack of swagger seeps from the team to the fans and leads to discussions like this one. If I'm Coach, I try to use this game as a statement game. We should smoke this opponent to show we are far better than teams like this. This team needs a confidence builder.

Also, if we have a lead mid way through the second half (and we better) tonight, we need to put them away with authority!!!! I'm tired of seeing us let other teams back into the game at the end. Close the damn door this time.

ya these guys got smoked by UNI so i think we should win. it might look alot like the loyola-Maymount game from earlier this year where it was a 8-10 pt lead the whole game but never really were nervous about a comeback from them
