4 pack ticket offer and courtside
My wife said she saw on TV an ad for tickets tonight, kind of like they did for the last volleyball game: 4 tickets, hot dogs and sodas for $40. Has anyone seen anything on this? Cyclones.com = can't find anything.
Also, my brother-in-law and I have season tickets together (balcony). We have always said we wanted to try and sit in those courtside seats for one game. Tonight might be a good night to try. Anybody have any tips on how to get those tickets? Anybody know the guy that stands at the bottom of the steps with tickets that he is buy/selling? I wondered if he ever had those courtsides...

Re: 4 pack ticket offer and courtside
The 4 for $40 is not available the day of the game.
Last time I checked the guy at the bottom of the stairs (Oregon State), he only had Balcony tickets.
Courtside tickets are owned by big donors--not sure how you could get hooked up with some.

Re: 4 pack ticket offer and courtside
The 4 for $40 deal is not courtside. We picked some up for the New Years eve game. Pretty good deal to take the kids.

Re: 4 pack ticket offer and courtside
I have a some 4-pack tickets for the women's game against Vandy on Jan. 3. The tickets say GA (general admission). Where is the general admission section? Is that balcony or where students usually sit behind the baskets?

I understand that...my 2 questions are independent of each other.

I have court side seats and they make you sign some waivers to sit there. Even when they let people move down to better seats they should have someone standing there to make sure no one moves down to court side seats. I would assume for liability reasons.

The information is buried deep under Promotions - Event Promotion - and then choose Mens or Womens BB. The food part of the package varies with the game, and at least for MBB, the ticket price also varies by weekday or weekend. If irc, you can only purchase the promo packs online up to the day before the game. Looks like to purchase you actually need to go to the purchase tickets site. ISU Cyclones - Hilton Ames, IA tickets. Directions, seating chart, events. Official Ticketmaster site.
Hope you find tickets and enjoy the game!

Ames, do you sign the waiver at each game or just when you get the season tickets?? The reason I'm asking is I know someone with those tickets and I wanted to see if I could buy a couple for one game this season. I guess what I am asking is if they check ID to make sure the person using the seat is who owns the ticket.
Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the info. It's once for the year. If you get tickets from a friend you can use them; they check the tickets not the person. However if you yelled at the officials or did something to get thrown out your friend is held responsible.

Thanks for the info. You sign a waiver once when you get the tickets. As those seats are yours, it is your responsibility that whoever sits there act in an appropriate manner. You are close enough you can and do talk with the players at certain times.

I couldn't get to the WBB listing that way. But, if you use this URL http://www.cyclones.com/ViewArticle....RIBER_CONTENT= it will take you to the page where the MBB and WBB 4-packs are listed together.
Don't understand why they want to bury the special deals!
