If Hamilton continues to play the way he did last night and has a firm grasp of the offense he may break into the starting lineup. I think Alex is better suited coming off the bench as an energy guy.
Next year:
Gilstrap
Colvin
Brackins
Garrett
Lucca
heres what i think it should be NEXT year.
PG-Garrett
SG-Colvin
SF-Staiger
PF-Gilstrap? slightly small but might be a good option
C-Brackins
i also think that we need to play Boozr more because he is good on defense and he is good on the break to get some quick pts. Same for Buckley
I'd be shocked if Colvin comes in and starts...really shocked. I can't wait till the kid gets to campus but he'll have to beat out Lucca/Buckley. Maybe by conference play but I just hate to see the kind of expectations heaped on this kid.
Yeah, I agree that is an athletic lineup and im excited for Colvin and Gilstrap.
yeah ik lol
People were expecting Garrett to start from day one, and then people were expecting Buckley to start from day one. Let's just wait and see.
Brackins would be best served as a 4 with Ham as a 5.
I believe both Garret and Buckley were top 150 in their respective classes and have experience over Colvin so I highly doubt that Colvin will start from day 1, maybe by the end of the season but not from day 1.
I agree. I see this:
PG-Buckley
SG-Garrett
SF-Staiger/Gilstrap depending on who we're playing
PF-Brackins
C-Hamilton
I say Buckley at the point over Garrett just because he is starting to get going in the last few games and he is more of a true point than Garrett. Garrett is more of a slashing scorer. I think/hope by the end of this year we have both of them starting and they start to morph into the next Stinson/Blalock combo guards. That would be swell...
If Colvin is as good as advertised, and Hamilton wasn't just a one game wonder, your lineup could be
Colvin/Garrett
Staiger
Gilstrap
Brackins
Hamilton
Nothing against AT but Hamilton should be at least getting ½ the minutes if not starting. He is a better scorer and equally as a good a rebounder. I also like the fact that Hamilton seems to get more touches down low than AT and then kicks out to guys who are open to shoot the 3. Both he and AT need to get meaner.
