    Texas gets another McDonalds All American

    Jai Lucas is transfering from Florida to Texas. He started all 36 games for Florida last season.

    Also Jeff Withey is transfering to Kansas. He was a top 40 player in the country when he committed to Arizona.

    So I wonder if Florida fans are having a meltdown and calling for their coaches head for letting a McD AA leave the team?

    Can you imagine the fallout at ISU if we had a McD AA leave and go elsewhere (not that we actually get them in the first place). The fallout after Wesley (a 2 star) was bad enough.

    That depends if we had other McD AA or 2 on the team, and if our coach had a record of winning in the NCAA tournament.

    It's a little different when their coach has actually had success prior to this. Like two national championships and three appearances in the title game. That will buy you some slack.

    There are absolutely no parallels between what McDermott has done at ISU and what Donovan has done at Florida. There is not a meltdown in Gainesville because this kid is leaving due to lack of PT. BILLY HAS RECRUITED PLAYERS THAT ARE BETTER THAN HE IS THAT ARE KEEPING HIM ON THE BENCH. Is that why Wesley Johnson transferred? I don't think so. Not to mention that Donovan has hung a couple of National Championship banners at UF.

    I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.
