I really like this shot because McD is looking over Petey kinda like a father watching over his son and smiling. I bet that is a little bit like their relationship. I like this one enough that it is my final photo posted in 2008!!
Happy New Year to all CF'ers!! And, Jeremy, you have the best site online!!:notworthy:

As always, thanks for the pics.
Re: A few game photos from Mercer-ISU
I see you use two bodies - a 20D and a 30D. What lenses are you using for indoor work? A 300mm F/4L IS? 50mm F/1.4?
Just curious!
And, as always, outstanding work!

Hi Jumbo, the four lenses I use are 300mm f2.8 L IS, 70-200 f2.8 L IS, 24-70 f2.8 L IS and hte 50mm f1.4 . The one thing I really need is a body to handle high ISO and the full frame sensor. almost everything in hilton is ISO1600 for me and these bodies just don't do as well as I need them to. I'd really like to shoot at 3200 but that is totally out of the question for me.
I can't really justify the cost of a pro body so I am thinking of getting one used.
Also, thanks for the comments you guys, it's very kind of you.

Great lineup!
I just got a 70-200 F4L today and I've been dinking around with it. It's no 2.8L IS, but it's got amazing image quality (plus it is a lot lighter both physically and on the wallet)! I've got a 1D mark 1, a Rebel XT/350d and I just picked up an Elan to mess around with film (for 15 bucks, how far wrong can you go?)
I LOVE the 1D, but I wish it was more than 4.2MP and high ISO is pretty miserable on it.
The 5D is supposed to be all of those things. They are going around that 1300-1400 used range. As much as I've been tempted, I've decided just to play around with film for full frame shooting, and maybe pick up a 17-40 F/4L.

Hey, wesley. You write "attempting a reverse layup . . . " Do you recall, did JH make this shot? During the game John Walters credited JH with a nice reverse layup.
Small thing, just curious if JH is pretty deft with this move and attempted it more than once, or if your photo matches up to the bucket Walters mentioned in his radio pbp. Thanks.
I've been a big fan of big Justin since I first read about his story when he committed to the Cyclones.

Hi, CyValley.
I believe Justin made this shot but I wasn't 100% positive so I tried to word it that way. I do know he got the shot off without having it blocked and the ball was above the rim. This was in the first half if that is any help.
Wes
