    Re: Hypothetical 2010-2011 lineup

the only thing that I am concerned about is him getting pushed around by some of the bigger 4's and 5's in the big twelve and then in the NBA. I am not questioning his talent I just don't think he is ready physically yet. if you watch his game he rarely goes to the rim, he settles for 10-15 foot jumpers or fade aways. i would like to see him be more physical and take it to the smaller players that he has seen this year. the last game he had a nice drive the the basket but he does not do that often, I cant see him going hard and dunking over a guy like Blake Griffin and I would like to see that before i say he will be effective in the NBA

Spencer Hawes was as unready physically as any prospect in the draft a few years ago and he was a top 10 pick. Anthony Randolph was really skinny.

Everybody in the league assumes they can beef up young guys.

    I got it:

    PG Colvin
    SG Garrett
    SF Barnes
    PF Brackins

    and PF/C FIZER...

yep, he comes back to finish his Sr. year....and we freaking dominate again.

    Lemarcus Aldridge

I think all of those guys were to skinny to play iin the NBA, but they were all lottery picks

theres a good chance that we would probably go to the final four with that lineup, anything less then the sweet 16 would be a dissapointment

I originally thought Gilstrap was a 3 based on his size but having attended a number of his games now, he's a natural 4 and will most likely stay there. He could also play 3 if he had too, has quickness and a great touch form outside.

In JC he may be a four... But he isn't big enough to play the four in the Big XII...

    Re: Hypothetical 2010-2011 lineup

Yeah I don't think Gilstrap is necessarily a 4 at this level either, but I could see him playing in a lineup with 3 other guards and Brackins (at times)...so i guess that puts him at the "4" :)

Wherever it is, he'll play a lot. He gives us another scorer.

Can I just be an A-hole and say none of this is gonna happen because I am super intelligent and know more than any of you and this is the only way I can bring you down to my miserable level. C'mon guys, this supposed to be a "dream" segment why are you so intent on making it a nightmare? Thumper rule here by enforced!

    Re: Hypothetical 2010-2011 lineup

I think Gilstrap and Colvin in 2009 will be the missing pieces to the puzzle. 2010 and 2011 should be very good season if this all pans out.
