    Hey, I'm feeling just a little nostalgic, and felt it would be fun to post who would make your all-time Cyclone Basketball team. Pick your five starters then your seven bench players.

    Even though, it's been posted before many times, I'll post mine. I go small with my line-up...

    C - Fizer
    PF - Grayer
    SF - Stevens
    SG - Hoiberg
    PG - Tinsley

    Bench:

    C - Cato
    PF - Alexander
    SG - Willoughby
    SG - Hornaceck (although he played point for ISU)
    PG - Stinson
    PF/C Homan
    SG - Thipgpen
    SF - Michalik

    Head Coach - LE

    Keep in mind, I grew up in the 80's, so I don't know some of the guys that played before that time. I'd like to think that we could take on about any other program's all-time team with this team. We've got everything from shooters, to shot blockers, to defensive studs to just plain scorers. And it helps that we have some of the all-time assist leaders to get them all the ball...

    I think I'd have to play small ball and go with this lineup....

    PG: Jamaal Tinsley
    SG: Jeff Hornacek (played PG for us, but would be a good SG too)
    SF: Fred Hoiberg (again, not a SF, but HAS to be on this team)
    PF: Jeff Grayer
    C: Marcus Fizer

    Any all time team must have Don Smith (Zaid Abdul Aziz) on it. The guy was the no. 5 pick in the NBA and played 10 seasons. He is one of the few old time players whose game would have still been great today.

    actually, for at least his senior season, Fred did play the 3. Holloway played the 1 and Hurl played the 2.
