ISU-UT Post game thread

I've always said I won't be too upset if we play hard and lose. I was very happy with our game today. Had a few mitstakes, but we hung around and didn't give up.

The women's win was great also.

I really like Lucca's drive-jumpshot. I think it will take pressure off the bigs.

We need to have more kids out there talking..not just 1 or 2...ALL of them talk! Play more as a team

Not a bad game, but tons of mistakes.

I just hope we come out ready to play midweek against Nebraska. Absolutely huge game. Must win IMO.

Losing to a top 10 team (probably not though after the ARK loss) by less than 10 on the road is a great game.

I was impressed with the fact we only had 10 turnovers against intense ball pressure. Also, outrebounding a team that had an obvious size advantage over us.

It still makes me mad that we lost this..but its over...now its time to party and get this off my mind :-)

The best performance of the year for this team...by far. The boys played hard, didn't give up and let the game get out of hand there late in the game. Fought hard and really didn't seem to shoot all that well to boot.

Some of Lucca's shot selections did leave me a little cold...if the guy has a shot by all means take it but this 35 foot fade away 3 is simply what this team can not afford. Frankly, I'm shocked gmac is letting him get by with it.

I'm going to play the inexperience-youth card here.

Time will cure this team's problems. (That, and more fine recruits like Colvin and Gilstrap coming aboard.)

What would have happened if this game were at home? I think this is one of those games where the crowd noise would have been crazy during our little come back runs of 6 and 8 points. It would have inspired our defense some. We MIGHT have taken this at home.....

Damn right. This is a game we should have lost by 20+ points easily on paper. The kids played hard. For the 1st time, in a long time, I feel good about things to come.

Last year's game almost should have been a win against them at home. Two years in a row we've played these guys tough.
