Wow, We're Playing Against a Really Young / Inexperienced Kansas Team

It will be interesting to see which team uses the "We're Too Young / Inexperienced" excuse after the loss:

Pete (Sr)......Collins (Jr)
Garrett (So).....Moringstar (So)
Lucca (Fr /So)....Reed (So)
Ham (Fr).......Taylor (Fr)
Brackins (So).....Aldrich (So).

Of course Kansas will use that excuse. Because we're not going to lose!!

Yeah, Kansas isn't that great this year, mainly due to the fact that they're young. (Plus they lost all of their best players)

Youth is not an excuse for this years team. Anybody who uses it is using it as a way to make them feel better

Yes but they had good upperclassmen to show them the ropes.

NOT AN EXCUSE, but were also young and inexperienced. Only one starting SR. and the rest SO.

no our excuse is that the refs let kansas shoot 3s when its a dead ball. and if they make them they get to keep the points.

Wow, ISU might stay with in 30 this weekend.

I'm of the side that talent and coaching make up for the inexperience. Derrick Rose was the 18 yo starting PG for Memphis last year and he's having a great year with da Bulls.

KU is 13-4; 2-0 with some good wins.....and on the road, no less.

Will HB sit behind their bench or ours?

I disagree that youth is not an excuse for this year's team. Just because we might not beat Kansas who is also young, doesn't mean that it doesn't work as an excuse for us. Kansas won the national championship last year and those sophomores and older kids were a part of that. Invaluable. What have we had over the past few years? Youth, player turnover, and 0.500 seasons. That does not instill confidence in our players.

Kansas then comes with a bench of
Freshman - Morris
Freshman - Morris
Freshman - Relaford
Junior (TR) - Little

We come with a bench of
Senior - Thompson
Senior - Haluska
Freshman - Eikmeier
Junior (TR) - Vanderbeeken

We should win as long as Collins and Aldrich are held in check. Collins is waayyy better than Petey but hopefully Brackins can keep Aldrich in check and not visa versa
